Breeding and raising Great Danes has been my passion for over 15 years; they're my "gentle giants." My Danes are registered with the American Kennel Club (AKC) and I devote much of my time to learning all that I can about the breed and canine health. I do not breed my dogs for a profit; I do not breed my dogs just to produce cute puppies. I breed for conformation, temperament, and health--striving to improve the qualities of the breed to meet standards set forth by the AKC.
When I choose two animals to breed, I look for bloodlines and characteristics that will
compliment the bloodlines and characteristics of my dogs. I also want to make sure that there are no serious
hereditary diseases in either the male or females' history.
As a breeder, I am committed to the well-being of all the animals I produce. My responsibility does not end when a puppy goes to its new home; I want to ensure new puppy owners know that they can turn to me with questions and concerns about their dog for its entire life. I am thrilled when I receive puppy updates and I love to hear about birthday parties, the occasional destroyed shoe and seeing photos of the growing puppy.
